Crispins is an established family run business established since 2001 situated in the heart of Clacton-on-sea, providing handmade sandwiches, rolls, French sticks and huffers for your lunch. We have a thriving delivery service, so if you can't come to us just phone in your order and we will deliver to your home or place of work. Whether you visit us in our friendly shop or order by phone you can be sure your food will be made freshly just as you ask. Our breads are locally baked and delivered to us fresh every morning. Wherever possible we use local suppliers for all our produce. At Crispins we pride ourselves on making nearly all our own sandwich fillings in our kitchen fresh everyday. Our busy kitchen staff are chopping, slicing, mixing and preparing our salads, vegetables and fillings from early morning and throughout the day. We are open from 8am so you can pop in and collect your breakfast choosing from a hearty cooked breakfast, sausage and bacon rolls, toast and coffee. When you order a salad for lunch it will be made up with all your favourites and we will leave out the bits you don't like. Our jacket potatoes are baked in the oven and then generously topped with your choice of filling and butter if you want. In autumn and winter we have a home-made hot dish of the day, perhaps lasagne or shepherds pie. These are always very popular with our regulars, so order early to be sure of your share! Our fully established buffet catering service is perfect for private or business functions and we enjoy making each buffet whether large or small.
